hayride to round top

Saturday, October 18th was our 2nd annual fall hayride at church. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs at the church, then we rode to round top. We had a big turn out; more than last year. We had 2 tractors with trailers and Mark pulled a trailer with his truck. There was also alot of 4-wheelers.

A Sunday ride

Sunday Stevie and Marlanda brought the twins over and we rode 4-wheelers. Tyler and Jay Hunter rode too. We rode down eagle creek, which was as dry as I had ever seen it. Then to the river bridge. We sat under the Interstate and the kids and I walked down the edge of the river. . Here are some pictures. Hope you enjoy.

South Padre Island [2004]

After my birthday vacation to the mountains, I have been thinking back to the first birthday vacation Mark took me on. Back in 2004, it was my first birthday with Mark as an official couple. He took me to South Padre Island in Texas. It was the first time I had been anywhere since my childhood trip to Florida in which I have no memory, except that of Pluto making Daniel cry. We had a fabulous time. I had to go through old cd's filled with old pictures to find these. I finally did, and I would like to share them with all of you.

Rock City pictures

This is a slideshow of the pictures I took at Rock City atop lookout mountain near Chattanooga.

a trip through the mountains

We left out Sunday morning on the motorcycle and headed towards Chattanooga. We drove through the Cherokee National Forest and stayed the first night in Ducktown. Monday we rode the Cherohale skyway, went through the Cherokee Indian Reserve, and through the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. We stayed in Gatlinburg Monday night, and drove to Pigeon Forge Tuesday and stayed Tuesday night. Wednesday morning the cold front came and it was a very cold ride home Wednesday. Here are some pictures from our adventure.
